For generations, the Kennett Library has been a major source of pleasure and inspiration across our whole community, helping guide children and adults alike down the ‘yellow brick road’ of life. Last year alone, our beloved Library welcomed almost 120,000 visitors, more than 22,000 of which attended the nearly 1000 classes, lectures, and events, all hosted by the Library free of charge. Some, like adult literacy and tutoring, are absolutely vital to those most in need. While state and local government funding pays for the Library’s core functions, financial support for many of these special activities depends on your donations. Our new Annual Fundraiser is a fun and easy way to do your part to make sure that our own ‘yellow brick road’ stays open to all, for generations to come.
