Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteering at the library is a fantastic opportunity to help your community in a variety of ways.

We are always seeking volunteers!

Circulation Volunteer positions require the following physical abilities: to handle, lift or move library materials weighing up to 25 pounds; to stand, sit, walk, stoop or reach within a confined area.

The Adult Literacy program is seeking volunteers to tutor adults in reading, writing, and comprehending English. Volunteer tutors set their own hours and no foreign language experience is required.

Please note that all volunteers 17 & older must complete a federal and state background check before the start of their first volunteer shift.
