New Signage and visioning plans
9/1, The Executive Committee met with 2nd Library Consultant to possibly consult on the new library’s building design.
9/6, The Executive Committee met with the New Garden Township Manager to discuss funding issues.
9/7, Members of the Executive Committee met at State Representative Steve Barrar’s office to be trained on how to apply for a RACP grant to partially fund the new library.
9/19, The new Kennett Library Logo signage was installed on the outside of the Library.
9/19, A Bayard Taylor display was installed ink the lobby of the Library.
9/20, The new Library Visioning Architects, The Lukemire Partnership, met with staff, School officials and Borough Representatives to get input for the new Library and prepare for the public visioning meetings.
9/20, The Board of Trustees endorsed the formation of the Friends of the Kennett Library.
9/26, After 120 years, the first Kennett Library Annual Reports were released to the public and posted on the Library’s website.
9/27, A Library Public Visioning meeting to be held on Oct 13th by The Lukemire Partnership
