10/3, Trustees met with the New Garden Township Board of Supervisors to discuss future funding.
10/4, The Executive Committee met with State Senator Andy Dinniman to gain his endorsement for grants to build the new library.
10/11, The Executive Committee met with Brian O’Leary, the Executive Director of the Chester County Planning Commission to discuss plans and available grants for our new facility.
10/12, The Executive Committee met with State Senator Tom Killian to gain his endorsement for grants to build the new library.
10/13, Five Visioning sessions were held by The Lukmire Partnership
, to obtain community input on what is desired in a new library.
10/22, Trustees attended fundraising seminars hosted by the Chester County Community Foundation.
10/25, The Friends of the Kennett Library reported that many members of the community are signing up to support the Library.
10/27, An online New Library Visioning Survey was sent out to the Library’s mailing list and paper copies of the Survey were made available in the Library.
10/31, The second series of new Library Visioning sessions was announced for November 15th.
