Library tax approved

11/7  The voters of New Garden Township voted by a margin of 61% to 39% to approve a .1 mil dedicated library tax to fund the ongoing operations of the Kennett Library.  The new tax will generate around $80,000 per year for the Library and means that New Garden Township will now meet their Fair Share contribution.  New Garden Township joins Kennett and East Marlborough Townships as municipalities who support the Kennett Library with dedicated Library taxes.
