9/6  Met with State Senator Andy Dinniman about an additional RACP grant and he will be supporting the additional grant.

9/7-8  The Library had a booth at the Mushroom Festival to showcase the new Library and recruit tutors for the Adult literacy program.  467 adults visited the booth and spoke to Library staff.

9/8  Presentation to East Marlborough Township to request a donation to the Capital Campaign

9/16  Presentation to New Garden Township to request a donation to the Capital Campaign

9/17 The Trustees voted to hire an executive coach for Megan Walters, the Library Executive Director, to enhance her skillset and help prepare her for managing the new, larger library.

9/17 The Trustees voted to approve the Library’s 2018 990 tax return.

9/17 The Trustees voted unanimously to hire Mary Hutchins as a Development Associate to support the Capital Campaign committee.

9/17 The Trustees voted unanimously to hire DeltaOne to assist and lobby for an additional RACP grant.  DeltaOne was the consultant, paid for by Kennett Township, that helped the Library secure the 1st $1 million RACP grant.

 9/20 Attended the Chester County Library Legislative breakfast and spoke to the State Librarian who encouraged the Library to apply for a Keystone Library grant.

9/30  Mary Hutchins was hired as a Development Associate for the Capital Campaign.  Mary brings with her 20 years of experience as the Executive Director of Historic Kennett Square.
