Volunteer
Could you spare a couple of hours a week to help someone in our community improve his or her English language skills? The Adult Literacy Program is always looking for volunteers for our one-to-one tutoring sessions. No foreign language experience is necessary, as students want to work on everyday English language skills and literacy in general. Volunteers and students are able to schedule meetings at mutually convenient times. This is a wonderfully rewarding way to make a difference in the life of a new member of our community. Please call the office at 610-444-9118 for more information.
Tutor Training Workshops
Volunteers are trained at various times throughout the year. The training involves two sessions, each lasting one and one half hours, for a total of three hours. Call the Adult Literacy Program office for dates and times of the next tutor training workshop.
